Wednesday, March 31st 2010:

During the Holy Wednesday in Alicante one of the most moving and popular parades takes place. The Parade traverses the steep, narrow streets of the Santa Cruz district and features the Prisoner Jesus, the Expiring Jesus, The Descent and the Virgin of the seven Sorrows.

 

Thursday, April 1st 2010:

On this Holy Thursday takes place the Silent Procession where the most valuable statues of Alicante's Holy Week are being carried, such as the Cristo de la Buena Muerte (Jesus Christ of the Beautiful Death - Bussi, XVII Century) and the Virgin Of Sorrow (Salzillo, XVIII Century)

 

Friday, April 2nd 2010:

It is in the morning of the Holy Friday that the Alicante Esplanade hosts Veronica's Procession.

 

Sunday, April 4th 2010:

To close the Holy Week, The Virgin Of Joy marches by the image of Jesus Christ reborn after el Encuentro (The Encounter) on the City Hall's Plaza.
